The binge drinking
essay

Nowadays, young people consume alcohol more prematurely. We know of cases of children of 14 years who already go to parties in nightclubs or pubs reserved for an adult audience. Despite taking some serious measures, incidents with young people and alcohol persist. Since, although they cannot enter the fashionable gambling dens where they are served, they can acquire it by other methods.

The binge drinking it is a practice that is carried out secretly from parents and as a measure of drinking alcohol despite the restrictions. In addition, it is more profitable for teenagers to buy bottles than to pay for an entrance and consume the drinks offered by the disco or the pub. Although in Spain the mandatory law to buy alcohol or tobacco is 18 years, many establishments sell illegally.

This brings many consequences. As several cases of elliptical coma intoxication, where several young people are treated urgently with a stomach lavage. Most times they buy cheap or imitation alcohols that are not regulated and can seriously damage their liver and more if they take it in large quantities.

Apart, this causes a serious cleaning problem. After consumption, the bottles and plastic cups are thrown to the ground and mixed with the rest of garbage. When there are village parties, the dirt is so big that a large number of people have to be taken to clean a whole street. This creates a bad vision of the place and discredits the tranquillity.

Therefore, we must become aware. The binge drinking is a practice that has to definitely end for the common good. We have to educate young people to drink responsibly and teach them a limit. All this will benefit and avoid unnecessary misfortunes.

Easy:
The use of technology nowadays

Humanity has progressed with the advance of time. The old ways of doing things were abandoned. Today we have several machines that facilitate our lives, both personally and professionally. We enjoy a huge technological privilege but is all that glitters gold? In most cases, it is. Using technology allows us to visit pages with information or, if we see that the data is not the right one, correct it or ask someone to review it. This is especially good when we are using information from other countries. In addition, the communication to a click as the emails allows to see the progress that is given. Fortunately, we have different devices. All of them with unique or similar functions.

Mobile phones overturned telephone booths. It is rare to not have a mobile phone that does not have more functions than just a call or SMS message. These devices can play music, use the internet, serve as gps in case of getting lost and depending on the model, they have types of cameras. So you can forget about carrying your heavy canon with you. The mobile has very diverse games and entertainment applications, you can have them only downloading.

By the other hand, we have computers. Although the phones have a touch keyboard for writing, it is still much more comfortable and faster to write on a computer. The computer, in itself, already has some programs that help us to develop the work as the PowerPoint or Word. It is said that with computers we have an advanced network to finalize our projects. Computers have software that updates them every year, so they never get outdated.

Then we have notebooks. These have been changed by books. Since they were created, there has been a higher percentage of trees saved. They only have to be charged to enjoy million readings. Multiple-page books or comics can be saved. Although the books are still the preferred one for the veteran readers, the notebook has been making its way pleasantly.

As we have seen, all these devices open the doors to a world of facilities but, at the same time, it also opens a bad door for us. One of which we can get harmed by being glued to the screens. Many studies have shown that the excessive use of these technologies can create insomnia, depression, confuse reality with the life of the screen, codependence to not being able to detach from them for a second. It also leads to other problems. If we have an old version of a computer or a mobile phone and it does not allow updating the software, in the end it will end up being incompatible and obsolete. Without forgetting that for any negligible failure, our documents and most precious files could be erased by an error and never be recovered (which often happens) and also, if the battery is cheap the device will not last more than two years at the most.

Therefore, we can say that it is okay to use electronic devices ... as long as we have a good control of these and do not let us dominate by spending hours and hours using us. Both worlds, the technological and the real, are compatible with their strict margin.
